CIRKIT NOVASEAL is Siegwerk's dedicated portfolio of heat-sealing lacquers for paper-based packaging and aluminum foil. It includes five products — CIRKIT NOVASEAL 1609, 1906, 1643, 1909 and 1677 — engineered for different sealing temperatures, line speeds, and bond-strength requirements.
CIRKIT NOVASEAL is designed primarily for paper-based packaging applications. Several solutions within the portfolio are also approved for use on aluminum foil, enabling hybrid recyclable packaging structures.
Yes. CIRKIT NOVASEAL is designed to enable recyclable paper-based packaging structures and directly supports the paperization trend toward fiber-based packaging — in line with the requirements of upcoming EU regulations such as PPWR.
Yes. The portfolio offers solutions for both gravure and flexographic application. CIRKIT NOVASEAL 1609 is optimized for gravure; the remaining four solutions (1906, 1643, 1909, 1677) support both gravure and flexo.
